Realme will launch a new GT series phone soon. The company has confirmed that it will launch the GT Neo 5 SE as its new premium smartphone in China next month. The GT Neo 5 SE will launch in China on April 3. Ahead of the official launch, Realme has been teasing the key specifications and features of the upcoming GT series phone. The Realme GT Neo 5 SE is confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC under the hood.
Realme has also teased the design of the Neo 5 SE. The phone will look identical to its more premium sibling but will miss out on the RGB lighting feature. Now, a new leak has revealed the key specifications and features of the new Realme smartphone. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT Neo 5 SE specifications, features and other details.
Realme GT Neo 5 SE Specifications: What You Need to Know
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE will pack some premium hardware under the hood. The phone is set to make its debut on April 3 in China. Ahead of the launch, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the key specs of the phone. The GT Neo 5 SE will be a 5G smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The 4nm SoC was unveiled earlier this month with a peak clock speed of 2.91GHz.
The tipster further revealed that the phone will offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Realme, however, has revealed that there will be a 1TB storage option for the phone. In case you are wondering, the phone will feature LPDDR5x RAM. There is no word on the storage type at the moment. We can expect the phone to offer UFS 3.1 storage at least.
In addition to this, Realme has confirmed that the phone will feature a 144Hz display with support for a 1.5K resolution. Brar has further added that the device will sport a 6.74-inch AMOLED display. The hole-punch cutout will be at the top centre of the phone for the front camera.
While we are at it, the device will feature a 16MP front camera, according to Brar. It will feature a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 64MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). It will also come with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.
Realme has already confirmed the battery and fast-charging details of the phone. The device will feature support for 100W fast charging out of the box. In comparison, the GT Neo 5 5G offers options for charging at 150W and 240W. While the Neo 5 SE will charge at a slower speed in comparison, it will pack a bigger 5500mAh battery.
The phone will have an in-display fingerprint scanner as well. It will run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top.
As per Brar, the phone might launch in India with a price ranging between Rs 30,000 and Rs 40,000. Realme is yet to officially comment on the India launch of the GT Neo 5 SE.
