Realme GT Neo 5 Series Specifications Leaked; Likely to Launch in Two Variants

Realme is gearing up for the launch of the GT Neo 5 series. The company has confirmed to unveil the world’s fastest-charging smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. Realme GT Neo 5 series will feature up to 240W fast charging support. The device is likely to charge from zero to 100 per cent in nine minutes, as per reports. The company has not confirmed the official details about the phone. Meanwhile, a new report has revealed the specifications and features of the GT Neo 5 series.

As per the leaked details, Realme will launch two smartphones in the GT Neo 5 series. The base model will offer 150W fast charging, whereas the faster charging option will support 240W. Let’s take a look at more details about the Realme GT Neo 5 series revealed ahead of the launch.

Realme GT Neo 5 Series: Specifications and Features 

The Realme GT Neo 5 series will launch at MWC 2023. Ahead of the launch, some key details about the phones have leaked online. According to a Weibo post (via), the Realme GT Neo 5 series will launch with two variants. Both phones will be identical to each other. The primary difference between the two variants will be the battery capacity and fast charging options.

One of the two variants will have a 4600mAh battery with support for 240W fast charging. There will also be a 150W fast-charging variant, which will feature a 5000mAh battery. The two variants were recently spotted on TENAA and 3C certification websites with the model numbers RMX3706 and RMX3708.

Other than this, the leaked details reveal that the phones will feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. The screen will also support a 144Hz refresh rate and have a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. Lastly, there will be support for 2160Hz PWM Dimming.

The devices will have a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro shooter. Under the hood, there will be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.  For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera sensor.

The TENAA listing revealed the design of the device as well. As per the images attached, the phone will have two large circular cutouts on the back. The upper cutout will feature a single camera, whereas the bottom camera will have dual camera sensors. The LED flash module is placed next to the camera sensors.

On the front, the phone will have a flat screen and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. Other details about the GT Neo 5 series should be available soon on the web. We will share more details as and when available.
