Realme GT Neo 5G India Launch Expected Soon as the Phone Passes Through BIS and IMEI Databases

Realme is all set to launch the Realme GT Neo 5G smartphone in China on March 31st. The device will be utilizing MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 SoC, as confirmed by Realme a few weeks ago. Now, ahead of the official launch, the Realme GT Neo 5G is certified by India’s BIS certification and also spotted on the IMEI database. Both these certification doesn’t reveal any specs of the device, except that it only showcases the device’s model number. Realme GT Neo 5G Spotted on IMEI and BIS Certification

The Realme GT Neo IMEI database certification was first spotted by Mukul Sharma. The device is listed on the IMEI database with model number RMX3031. Additionally, the Realme GT Neo is certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which does imply us that the phone could launch in India soon. The phone is even spotted at the Geekbench database, where most of its specifications are detailed. The Geekbench listing reveals that the Realme GT Neo will equip a Dimensity 1200 chipset and 6GB RAM. There will also be a higher-end model as well, which might come with 8GB of RAM.

On the software front, the device is supposed to run Android 11 out of the box. During the Geekbench testing, the phone had managed to score 975 points in the single-core test and 3340 points in the multi-core test. If we go by the rumoured specifications, the Realme GT Neo is expected to feature a 6.55-inch display. The device is suspected to sport a punch-hole notch which will be located at the top left corner of the panel.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. The smartphone packs 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and has 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It features a triple-camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel primary main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Realme GT draws power from a 4500mAh battery that offers up to 65W fast charging support.
