Realme GT Neo2 India Launch Timeline Tipped, Could Launch Just After Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale

Realme, earlier this week, launched the GT Neo2 in China. The new Realme smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC. It also sports a 120Hz AMOLED display. Realme has confirmed that the phone will launch soon in India. Notably, it will be the company’s first smartphone in India to feature a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth did not reveal the exact launch date of the upcoming Realme smartphone. A new report from 91Mobiles claims that the device will launch soon after the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. The report, citing tipster Yogesh Brar, claims that Realme will launch the GT Neo2 in India during the second or third week of October. The device is also said to go on sale starting early November in India.

There is no word from Realme regarding the launch timeline. CEO Sheth’s Twitter poll did suggest that the phone could launch in October. However, the exact launch date remains unknown. Realme GT Neo2 expected price in India, specs

The GT Neo2 price in India is expected to be around Rs 30,000. The device comes with a starting price of CNY 2499 (roughly Rs 28,500) in China for the base 8GB + 128GB storage option. 

As mentioned earlier, the phone draws power from a Snapdragon 870 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of RAM. The device has up to 256GB of inbuilt memory. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

For selfies, the phone has a 16MP front camera. The rear camera module houses a 64MP primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. As expected, the phone runs Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11.
