Realme launched the GT2 series in China recently. The company is now gearing up to make its top-tier flagship smartphones available globally. Realme GT2 and GT2 Pro will launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 on February 28. The company has confirmed to launch both its flagship smartphones.
The devices are expected to pack the same set of specs found on the China variant. Ahead of the launch, the pricing details of the two Realme flagship smartphones have leaked online. Let’s take a look at the Realme GT2 series price, specifications and other leaked details.
Realme GT2 Series Price
Realme will announce the GT2 series on February 28 at the MWC 2022. Ahead of the launch, the pricing details of both devices have leaked. According to tipster Sudhanshu, the GT2 Pro will launch in a single 12GB + 256GB storage option. It will be priced at EUR 789 (roughly Rs 66,500). The phone is said to launch in Paper White, Paper Green and Steel Black colours.
The vanilla GT2, on the other hand, will launch in two RAM and storage options. The base model will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will be priced at EUR 539 (roughly Rs 45,500). There is also a 12GB + 256GB variant, which could be launched for EUR 589 (roughly Rs 49,700). The phone will also launch in the same three colours – Paper White, Paper Green and Steel Black. It is advised to take the leaked pricing details with a pinch of salt.
Specifications and Features
The GT2 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It packs a 5000 mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. The phone comes with a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display. It uses an LTPO panel which allows for adaptive refresh rate switching. There is a triple-camera setup on the back. The phone has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 50MP 150-degree ultrawide camera and a 2MP microscope camera sensor.
The vanilla GT 2 has the same 50MP main camera and is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The phone has a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. It comes with a 6.62-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both devices run Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. Realme is expected to launch the flagship smartphones soon in India.
