Realme launched the Realme Narzo 30 Pro along with Realme Narzo 30A back in February in the country. These handsets came pre-loaded with Realme UI 1.0, based on Android 10. Last month, the company announced Realme UI 2.0 Early access program for these devices. Now, Realme has announced Realme UI 2.0 Open Beta program, based on Android 11 for the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G. The company took it to Realme Community to make the announcement. Take a look at the application procedure, as well as things that you should keep in mind before updating your device to Realme UI 2.0 Open Beta.
Realme says that Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G users running firmware versions RMX2111PU_11_A.35 or RMX2111PU_11_A.37 are eligible to apply for the Open Beta program. Users can simply head over to Settings > Software Update > Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner > Trial Version > Submit your details > Apply Now to apply for Realme UI 2.0 Open Beta program.
Realme also advises users to ensure a few things before they update their devices to Realme UI 2.0 Open Beta. The handset must not be rooted, and users must also have at least 5GB of space available on their handsets. Take a look at the prerequisites, and things to keep in mind before updating.
• Please make sure your phone is not rooted. • Please ensure that the available phone storage is more than 5GB. Otherwise there will be a risk of update failure (To check the phone storage head to Settings > Additional Settings > Storage). • To prevent data loss, please backup your personal data before proceeding. • Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with Android 11 yet, after updating these applications might not be available or crashing down on your device. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available in the Play Store before your update. • The Open Beta versions may have an unpredictable impact on your phone and effect on daily use. • Due to unpredictable factors such as network communication and strategy adjustment, it is not possible to guarantee that every applicant will receive the update. In case the update is not received, we suggest you patiently wait for the official release.
Realme says that the latest Open beta build will be rolled out to all the users as a stable build, but that might take a few weeks. Users running Realme UI 2.0 Early access build on their handset will receive an OTA update on their handsets, and they don’t have to apply for the program. Realme is also proividing users an option to downgrade to Android 10, but users downgrading to Android 10 will no longer be eligible to receive Realme UI 2.0 Open Beta update.
