The Realme Narzo 50 is slated to be launched soon, with the first half of March being tipped as its official launch date. Now, a report by 91mobiles cites tipster Yogesh Brar to state that the smartphone will indeed be launched within this timeline, and contrary to previous trends, will be launched via Amazon India this time. Realme smartphones have often been launched in partnership with Flipkart, but the trend is expected to change this time around.
According to the report, the Realme Narzo 50 was listed on Amazon India for some time, but was quickly taken down. This suggests that the smartphone’s launch should take place in the coming days, as is generally the norm that follows such listings. However, key details about the smartphone are yet to be revealed.
Realme Narzo 50: What We Know So Far
According to leaks, the Realme Narzo 50 that is tipped to be launched in India soon could feature a MediaTek chip powering it. Not a lot is yet known about the RAM and storage variants that the Narzo 50 could be launched in India with. But, given that the previous Narzo 50A, which should sit below the Narzo 50 in terms of the overall portfolio, features 4GB RAM, the upcoming device should feature at least 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of details revealed in the Amazon listing, the Realme Narzo 50 is also seen to feature green and grey colour options, with a fine texture on the rear panel. The latter is also seen to sport a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Other details suggest that the smartphone could come with a 4,880mAh battery with 33W fast charging setup, all of which should represent an upgrade over the Narzo 50A that was already launched in India.
In terms of the Narzo 50A, the smartphone features a 6.5-inch, HD+ display, and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It features 4GB of RAM, and in terms of cameras, offers an 8MP front camera and a 50MP rear camera setup. The Narzo 50 upcoming smartphone is expected to offer slight upgrades over what the 50A already offers. With the latter priced onward of Rs 11,499, the Narzo 50 may cost around Rs 5,000 in India.
