Realme VP Madhav Sheth Confirms Realme Narzo 50, GT 2 series Will Launch in India Soon

Realme is all set to launch the Realme 9 Pro series devices in the Indian and global markets. Ahead of the launch, Realme Vice President, Madhav Sheth, in the latest episode of #AskMadhav, has revealed that the company will soon launch the Realme GT 2 series and the Realme Narzo 50 in the country.

Sheth didn’t reveal any timeline for the India launch of Realme GT 2 series and the Realme Narzo 50. However, he said that these handsets will soon launch in India. Based on this, we can expect these handsets to launch in the next two months in the country.


Sheth had previously confirmed that the Realme GT 2 series will launch in the Indian and the European market. In the latest development, he also confirmed that the company will be launching products at MWC Barcelona, which will be held later this month. We can expect the company to announce Realme GT 2 series global rollout at MWC.

Realme GT 2 Series Specifications and Features

The Realme GT 2 features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Under the hood, the handset sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 65W fast charging support.

The Realme GT 2 flaunts a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset offers a 16MP front shooter.

The Realme GT 2 Pro flaunts a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO display with 3216 × 1440 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1400nits peak brightness support, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The GT 2 Pro comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC processor, fabbed on a 4nm process. The handset offers a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT 2 pro offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 150° field of view and a 2MP microscope camera sensor. It also offers a 32MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.

The Realme GT 2 series devices boot Android 12 with the company’s proprietary Realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
