Realme Narzo 60 series has launched in India, and the model in focus is the Narzo 60 Pro which seems to have a lot of similarities with the Realme 11 Pro model. The Narzo lineup historically started as a budget lineup but as with most phones in the past 24 months, their prices have gone up exponentially, owing to 5G and other external factors. But companies have realised that they need to up the ante in terms of the features to get people’s attention.

The Pro version of the Narzo 60 has a refreshing design, hardware that puts it in the higher mid-range segment and even the camera has been bumped up. But the increase in price puts it in a more competitive space, with the likes of Lava Agni 2 5G and the Poco F5 that have their own strengths, making them a viable choice for consumers. So, which one of these phones should you consider as your next? Here’s a detailed comparison of the phones to give you the answer.

Realme Narzo 60 Pro vs Lava Agni 2 5G vs Poco F5: Design

Realme has taken a tried-and-tested approach with the design for the Narzo 60 Pro. By that we mean, it has taken design elements from premium phones and offered them in the new Narzo model. You have two options; one with a faux-leather panel and the other variant has a polycarbonate panel with a metallic texture. The phone weighs around 185 grams and has a circular camera module which makes its presence felt at the back.

The Lava Agni 2 5G is another mid-range phone that features a glass back, a first for the brand in the segment. Most people feel the phone looks quite affordable for its style which shows Lava has learnt its lessons. You do get a device that weighs 210 grams which could make it hard to use for people with small hands. Lava has also opted for the circular camera module.

The Poco F5 5G goes for the standard plastic body panel, although the frame is made of aluminium, which makes it lightweight and comfortable. It gets a glossy back, but the streaks don’t show up so quickly. The Poco F5 weighs 182 grams which gives it a good and comfortable grip. Design generally tends to be subjective but on the whole, you might prefer the package offered by Narzo 60 Pro.

Realme Narzo 60 Pro vs Lava Agni 2 5G vs Poco F5: Display

The Narzo 60 Pro sports a 6.7-inch OLED display with a full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. You get a curved screen and a punch-hole cutout at the top where you have the front camera.

Poco F5 also has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen with Full-HD+ resolution. The screen offers Dolby Vision and comes with eye-protection mode as well.

The new Narzo phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and a whopping 1TB storage. You get it with Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0.

The Agni 2 5G also uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. You get the phone with just 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The RAM is virtually expandable up to 8GB using internal storage. Lava’s software experience gives you a bloatware interface and no ads either.

Poco F5 was one of the first phones with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset in India that is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. You have the option to expand the RAM virtually up to 7GB as well. Poco F5 also comes with the Android 13 version over which you have the MIUI 14 version out of the box.

Performance-wise, the Poco F5 has a definite advantage over the other two phones but for a cleaner software, Lava gets our vote.

Realme Narzo 60 Pro vs Lava Agni 2 5G vs Poco F5: Verdict

Realme Narzo 60 Pro is a competent product that looks to justify its higher price tag. It has the design, the display and even the camera that goes in its favour, along with the battery life. The software is the one pain point due to the bloatware. Lava Agni 2 is also a capable device which offers a clean software experience and has a premium body to match its image.

Poco F5 has the better hardware of the three, but the software is again a mixed bag. If you want an all-around product, the Narzo 60 Pro should be your first pick. If you need a bloatware-free UI, then it has to be Lava Agni 2 and if you want a workhorse device with other effective features, then you go for the Poco F5.
