The upcoming Realme Narzo 50 5G series phone might feature a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, 6GB RAM, 90Hz display, and more.


Realme recently launched the Narzo 50A Prime as its latest device in the Narzo 50 series. The Realme Narzo 50A Prime (First Impressions) is a device that falls in the sub-Rs 12k segment and packs specifications such as a large Full HD+ display, a 50MP camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery. Realme is now gearing up to launch a 5G version of the Narzo 50 series in India.

The company has officially teased the device launch on its social media handles and a micro-site has been made live on the company’s website. As Realme is teasing it as a series, so we can expect the company to launch at least two products in the lineup. The micro-site does not reveal any specifications of any device but a teaser that says ‘The fastest 5G processor in the segment’ and ‘The best cooling device in the segment’. Realme has reportedly shipped over 10 million units of Narzo series till January 2022 as per a Counterpoint report.

What to Expect from Realme Narzo 50 5G Series?

While Realme has not officially revealed the specifications or any device name in the Narzo 50 5G series, a report from RMLeaks suspects that one of the devices could be named Realme Narzo 50 5G.

The Realme Narzo 50 5G will sport a 6.58-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The device will get powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC under the hood that could be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. We can expect the device to come with Virtual RAM technology. It is expected to run Android 12 based Realme Ui 3.0 out of the box.

The Narzo 50 5G will pack a 4,800mAh battery unit with 33W charging support. It’s not clear whether the device will ship with a charger inside the box or not as the company did not ship it with the Narzo 50A Prime.

The device will house a dual camera setup on the back with a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it will sport an 8MP front shooter.
