Realme seems to be gearing up to launch its next smartphone called the Realme Q2 soon in India. The company is yet to provide any details about the phone officially, but the Realme Q2 has been listed on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) hinting towards an imminent launch. The listing has been first discovered by our in-house tipster Mukul Sharma. The Realme Q2 was first launched in China back in October alongside the company also launched the Realme Q2 Pro and the Realme Q2i models. BIS Certification of Realme Q2
The tipster Mukul Sharma share an image of the listing on his official Twitter handle. According to the shared image the Realme Q2 is listed on BIS certification with a model number RMX2117, which has been earlier associated with the Chinese model of the Realme Q2. The company is yet to utter any word about the availability of the smartphone in India. Meanwhile, BIS listing also didn’t reveal anything about the handset expect clarifying the fact that the phone will be soon launched in the country.

The Realme Q2 was launched in China with a price point of CNY 1,299 (around Rs 14,600) for 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is up for grabs at CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 15,800). According to the reports, the Indian price of the Realme Q2 is expected to be close to the Chinese pricing.
Thanks to the Chinese launch we already know something about the specifications of the Realme Q2. The smartphone runs Android 10 based on Realme UI out of the box, the handset flaunts a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900U SoC, clubbed with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage
On the optics front, the Realme Q2 accommodates triple-camera setup at the back panel with the combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor + 8-megapixel wide-angle lens + 2-megapixel macro lens along with an LED flash. At the front, it houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
