Realme is gearing up for the launch of its Realme Q2 series of smartphones on October 13, 2020. After teasing it for a while, the company finally made the launch date official via its Weibo handle earlier today. The Realme Q2 series is said to consist of two smartphones – Realme Q2 and Realme Q2 Pro. Both devices are tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor and are expected to come with Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. Alleged Realme Q2 series device visits Geekbench; key specifications revealed
Realme has finally confirmed that its Realme Q2 lineup will be unveiled in China on October 13, 2020. The company recently posted a launch date promotional poster on its official Chinese microblogging platform Weibo handle. Below is the promotional poster for your reference:
Though the promotional poster does not explicitly tell us anything about the specifications and features of the Realme Q2 series, the Geekbench listing has a lot to offer.

As seen in the Geekbench database image, the alleged Realme Q2 series smartphone (with the model number Realme RMX2117) has managed to pull off 2,879 in the single-core test and 8,123 in the multi-core test. The Geekbench listing confirms that the device will be powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, which will be paired with 6GB of RAM. There may, however, be more RAM variants of the device as well. Lastly, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Realme Q2 series phone will boot Android 10 OS out of the box.
Courtesy of previous leaks, we have a working clue as to what to expect from the Realme Q2 and the Realme Q2 Pro devices. Notably, the Realme Q2 is said to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Both devices are tipped to feature a 16MP selfie shooter. The Realme Q2 is assumed to come with a triple-camera setup, which will likely be a combination of 48MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors.
