Realme has teased the launch of its next premium smartphone, the Realme Q3, in China. Based on its teasers, the smartphone is slated to come with a unique feature, in the shape of glow in the dark text inlays at the back. While the general design of the phone remains similar to other Realme devices, the Q3 will feature the company motto, ‘Dare to Leap’ painted in phosphorescent paint at the back. While Realme phones have been seen to sport the company motto at the back in devices such as the Realme X7 and Realme 8, this would be the first time that one of its devices would come with a glow in the dark logo.
This piece of information about the Realme Q3 was tipped on Chinese social media platform Weibo by the company’s Vice President, Xu Qi Chase. Alongside teasing the overall design of the phone, the executive also tipped that the device would be a ‘thousand Yuan king’, as a teaser message of sorts. While this doesn’t particularly confirm anything, speculations suggest that this may mean that the Q3 would cost lesser than what it was previously tipped to be priced at. Previous leaks had claimed that it would be priced at above CNY 2,000. However, the smartphone is now expected to cost somewhere around what its predecessor, the Realme Q2 did. The latter is priced at around CY 1,500.
