Realme Q3 Series Confirmed To Feature MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, 120Hz Display and More

Realme officially confirmed that it would be launching the Realme Q3 series smartphones in China on April 22nd. We even saw the possible Realme Q3 Pro smartphone appearing on TENAA certification and Geekbench benchmark site. The benchmark listing revealed the hardware specifications of the device ahead of launch. Now, in a recent development, Realme has officially confirmed some essential hallmarks of the device. The company has revealed on Weibo that the upcoming Realme Q3 series smartphone, possibly the Realme Q3 Pro will feature a 120Hz display, and will house MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100 SoC.

Realme Q3 Series Confirmed to Feature 120Hz Display

The Realme Q3 Pro with model number RMX2205 had appeared on Geekbench. The device was spotted on the benchmark platform with MediaTek Dimensity 1100 Soc, and 8GB of RAM. Now, the company has officially confirmed that the Realme Q3 Pro will pack MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC. Realme has even revealed that the Realme Q3 Pro will also feature a 120Hz display. The phone is expected to run Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0, as revealed by Geekbench.

The Realme Q3 Pro also cleared the required TENAA certification in China. If we go by the details revealed by the TENAA listing, this upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.43-inch display. The storage option the device will be coming in isn’t known as of now. However, we can expect the handset to ship with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Dimensions-wise, the Realme Q3 Pro is expected to measure at around 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4mm. The whole package might draw power from a 4400mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the smartphone might feature a triple-camera setup. The details regarding the sensor the phone will incorporate aren’t known currently. Additionally, we still don’t have any information about the number of devices that will be launched in the upcoming Q3 series. The Realme Q2 lineup included three smartphones – the Realme Q2i 5G, Realme Q2 5G, and the Realme Q2 Pro 5G. Going by the past launch, we can assume the brand to launch three new models in the Q3 series. The official launch of this new lineup is scheduled for April 22nd. We should know more details about the specs, pricing, and availability of the device once it goes official.
