Realme is all set to launch the Realme Q5 and the Realme Q5 Pro in the Chinese market. Ahead of the launch, the brand has silently launched the Realme Q5i smartphone in its domestic market. The all-new Q5i is a mid-range smartphone that is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The handset offers a 90Hz LCD display and a 13MP dual-rear camera setup.

Other highlights of the latest Realme Q-series device include a 5,000mAh battery, up to 6GB of RAM, UFS2.2 storage, 5GB virtual RAM, and 33W fast charging support. Realme Q5i is available only in the Chinese market for now. It isn’t clear if the company plans to launch the handset in other markets in the future. Realme Q5i 5G Price

The Realme Q5i 5G comes in two configurations – 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB. The 4GB + 128GB variant of the device is priced at RMB 1,199 (approx Rs 14,360). While the 6GB + 128GB option costs RMB 1,299 (approx Rs 15,560).

As a launch offer, Realme is bundling a Realme Buds Q2 as a freebie with every purchase.

Realme Q5i 5G Specifications and Features

The Realme Q5i flaunts a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and 600nits peak brightness. It is a 90Hz refresh rate display that supports up to 180Hz touch sampling rate and has a waterdrop notch.

Powering the Q5i is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor that is built on a 6nm fabrication process. The system on chip brings with it an integrated Mali G57 graphics unit, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The latest Q-series device boots Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0.

The latest Realme smartphone offers a dual-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 13MP shooter that supports Night mode. Accompanying it is a 2MP auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the Q5i relies on an 8MP front snapper.

The Realme Q5i is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit and supports 33W Dart fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-res audio. It also supports up to 5GB Virtual RAM.

The Q5i comes in two colour options – Obsidian Blue and Graphite Black. The handset is about 8.1mm in terms of thickness and features a back panel with a Kevlar finish.
