Not too long ago, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme announced that in 2020, it would establish itself as a technology-lifestyle brand. In order to achieve the same, the brand has constantly been launching products on top of the usual smartphone series it is involved in. Realme has already launched its first-ever truly wireless earbuds, dubbed the Realme Buds Air (review). The brand later launched its first-ever fitness band, dubbed the Realme Band. The company is currently working on two major projects – its first-ever smartwatch and its smart televisions. While we could talk about the Realme smartwatch in some other story, let’s just deal with the latter for today.

A little while ago, we were able to spot the Realme TV on the Indian BIS certification website, which gave us a clue that its launch was imminent. Today, we have spotted a new Realme remote control on the Bluetooth SIG certification website which, as per our belief, could be the remote controller for the upcoming Realme TV(s). Take a look at the Bluetooth certification for the Realme remote and find out what it has in store for us.

Realme Remote Control (RTRC1) is Now Bluetooth SIG Certified; Could be the Controller for Realme TV

Realme Remote (RTRC1) Bluetooth SIG

As seen in the Bluetooth SIG certification image, the Realme remote (with the model number RTRC1) has finally started its certification journey. The description of the product clearly mentions it to be a remote control. Now, the reason behind our assumption that it could be the remote controller for the upcoming Realme TV series is that the brand is currently not working on anything else, which needs an external Bluetooth remote control, at least not something which is under our radar. Still, we would suggest that our readers take things with a slight grain of salt till the time the company makes things official.

As far as the specifications of the Realme RTRC1 remote control are concerned, the information available is pretty scarce as of now. The remote will run on Bluetooth v5.0. It will feature a 4.0 Host Controller Interface and will have a battery. Other than that, the Bluetooth certification for the Realme RTRC1 remote control fails to give us any more intel about it.

That being said, the earlier BIS certification for Realme TV has revealed some of its key specifications already. Notably, the Realme TV will come with the model number JSC55LSQLED. It is said to feature a 55-inch display. Speaking of the display, the Realme TV is tipped to feature a QLED display (notice the model number). One should keep in mind that QLED televisions are relatively costlier than their traditional LCD counterparts, so we have reason to believe that the upcoming Realme TV could compete with the OnePlus TVs, which were unveiled last year.

As of now, this is all that we know about the upcoming Realme TV, but since the company’s first-ever smart television has already started popping up on various certifications, we can safely expect to hear more about it in the coming days. Whenever we do, we will keep you posted on the same.
