Realme U1 3GB RAM, 64GB Storage Variant Launched in India, Will Go on Sale Via Amazon on 10th April

Realme has launched the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Realme U1 smartphone in India for INR 10,999. The device will go on sale via Amazon starting 10th April. Apart from this newly launched variant, the Realme U1 comes in two other configurations. The base variant has 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and it costs INR 9,999, whereas, the top-end variant has 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and it costs INR 11,999.

Earlier today, Realme had put out a new tweet saying “Why lose out on what you love due to less space? Stay tuned for more. #MoreForU” suggesting that the brand would launch a higher storage capacity variant of the its U-series smartphone. Considering that the brand has launched only one U-series smartphone so far, the Realme U1, it was apparent that the brand is going to launch the higher storage variant of the U1. Well, Realme has finally launched it. Buyers will now have more options to choose from.

Realme U1 Specifications

The Realme U1 has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. The display has a teardrop notch, and it comes with Corning Gorilla 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC, which as octa-core CPU, and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. Surprisingly, the Realme U1 hasn’t received the Android 9 Pie update yet; it still runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS 5.2. As mentioned earlier, the device is available in a total of three configurations – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. There is also a dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of imaging, the Realme U1 has a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera at the back. The 13MP camera sensor features PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. The 2MP camera is a depth-sensor and it comes with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera can record Full HD videos. At the front, the device features a 25MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. Powering the smartphone is a 3500mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
