Realme has rolled out a new update for the Realme 10. The device was launched earlier this year as a new budget smartphone under Rs 15,000 in India. The Realme 10 came with Android 12 out of the box. As expected, the phone came with a Realme UI skin on top. After over a month since the launch of the Realme 10 4G, the company has finally rolled out an early access version of the latest Realme UI 4.0 update. The new Realme UI update is based on Android 13.

Realme introduced many features in its latest skin. The UI also received an overhaul and is inspired by Oppo’s Aquamorphic design. Let’s take a look at more details about the Realme UI 4.0 update for Realme 10, which has been released in India.

Realme UI 4.0 for Realme 10 4G

The Realme 10 4G joins the list of smartphones running on the latest Android 13 software update with the company’s Realme UI 4.0 on top. The update provides many customisation options. Realme has released the update as part of its early access programme. This means that users who have signed up for the programme can experience the new Realme UI features based on Android 13 for the first time.

The update will be available for a select number of users initially. Realme said that it will start accepting applications in batches from February 21. This means that users who own the Realme 10 4G can apply for the early access update to get a taste of the new Realme UI version.

To apply, you first need to ensure that your phone has 60 per cent battery or more. Next, you need to update your phone to the required UI version RMX3630_11.A.23 / RMX3630_11.A.27. Once these requirements are in place, go to Settings → Software Update → Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner → Trial Version → Apply Now → Submit your details and finish the quiz.

If selected, you will get the new Realme UI update soon. It is important to note that the new beta update could be buggy and have underlying issues. Therefore, it is best to avoid installing it on your primary phone. If you still choose to go ahead and update, we advise taking a back up of your device’s data before installing the new software.

Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with Android 13 yet, after updating these applications might not be available or crash on your device. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available on the Play Store before your update.

Lastly, ensure that you have a stable Wi-Fi connection while downloading and installing the new Realme UI update.
