[Update, May 17th]: Realme Malaysia has confirmed the AIoT launch event for May 20th. The company will launch a total of 4 products – Realme Watch 2 Pro, Buds Wireless 2, Buds Wireless 2 Neo, and Pocket Bluetooth Speaker at the event.
Realme forayed into the wearable segment last year. Within a year, the brand launched multiple products, and as a result the company now has a portfolio of products under the Realme Watch series. The company launched the Realme Watch 2 last month in Malaysia. Now, Realme is gearing up to introduce a new Pro variant in the Realme Watch 2 series. The company will also launch new neckband earphones and a portable Bluetooth speaker alongside the Realme Watch 2 Pro. Realme Malaysia took it to social media channels to share the teasers.
Realme Watch 2 Pro, and Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo Teased!
Going by the teaser, the Watch 2 Pro will resemble Realme Watch 2 in terms of design. The Watch 2 Pro moniker was spotted in the Realme Link app code earlier this year, so its existence was known. Realme Watch 2 Pro, with model number RMA2006, made an appearance on the FCC certification website a few months back, revealing the presence of a 390Mah battery. The Watch 2 Pro is also expected to launch in India since it has already acquired BIS certification.
The upcoming Buds Wireless 2 Neo, with model number RMA2011, was also spotted on the FCC certification website. Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo features 11.2mm bass boost drivers, and a 150mAh battery unit withs up to 17 hours of music playback. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 Dual Mode, and features IPX4 water-repellant rating. Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo comes in Blue, Green, and Black color variants. Along with these two products, Realme has also teased the launch of a portable Bluetooth speaker. This seems like a new color variant of the Realme Cobble Speaker that was introduced recently.
Most of the specifications of these devices are not known yet, but we expect to get to know more about these in the coming days via official teasers.
