Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro are the upcoming smartwatches in the Realme Watch Series. The brand made its debut in the segment with the Realme Watch, which was announced earlier this year. Realme, at IFA, announced Watch S Pro and also revealed that the smartwatch will be launched later this year. Last week, Realme Pakistan officially confirmed the launch of Realme Watch S. The smartwatch is scheduled to make its global debut in Pakistan on 2nd November. We haven’t heard much about the Watch S series India launch. in a recent episode of #AskMadhav, Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth has confirmed India launch of Watch S and Watch S Pro. He said,
we’re working on the launch date of Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro, and I’ll share it with you guys as soon as we finalise it.
The Watch S and Watch S Pro will feature a circular dial along with two circular keys. One of these keys might be the power button. While the other one might be a rotating one to navigate through the interface.
Realme Watch S: Features and Specifications
Realme Watch S will feature a 1.3-inch touch screen display with auto-brightness sensor. It will be the first Realme Watch to come with auto-brightness adjustment support. It is not clear if the Watch S will feature an OLED display or the LCD display. The Watch S will have a heart-rate sensor and blood oxygen level monitoring sensor similar to OG Realme Watch. The software on the Watch S looks very similar to that of the OG Realme Watch which is the company’s own proprietary OS.
To those unaware, Realme Watch runs a forked version of the FreeRT OS. As a result, it may not have the functionality to reply to the notification similar to the Realme Watch. Realme has also confirmed that the Watch S will offer 16 sports mode compared to 14 modes on the Realme Watch. Realme Watch S will offer 15 days of battery life. As revealed in the FCC listing, the Watch S will pack a 390mAh battery with a proprietary magnetic charger. Additionally, FCC certification has also confirmed IP68 dust and water-resistant certification on the Watch S.
Realme Watch S Pro: Features and Specifications
Realme Watch S Pro had appeared on FCC last month revealing some key specifications. As per the FCC listing, it will pack a 1.39-inch touch screen AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. The Watch S Pro weigh s 63.5g with the strap and is fuelled by a 420mAh battery. It has a built-in GPS sensor along with an optical heart-rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic, and auto-brightness sensor.
