Realme X2 Pro 6GB+64GB Variant to Launch in India Soon, Master Edition Sale Starts Tomorrow

It’s not been too long since Realme launched its high-end smartphone — the Realme X2 Pro in India. At launch, the phone was made available in two storage versions; a base 8GB+128GB variant and a top-end 12GB+256GB version. To offer more options to the consumer, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth late last week revealed that the company would launch two Master Edition variants of the phone in India in two color options– Concrete & Red Brick. As the case is with Master Editions, these two handsets will be priced higher than the standard variants. Apart from these two versions, Madhav also confirmed that they are working in a lower-priced 6GB + 64GB version of the phone that the company intends to launch in the next few weeks.

Realme X2 Pro Master Edition Specifications, details

Specs-wise, the Realme X2 Pro is identical to the standard variants. The differences are merely cosmetic. The phone gets a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a PPI density value of 402. For durability, the phone gets a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display also boasts of 90 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. The display also supports 100 DCI-P color gamut and a contrast ratio of 2000000:1 The Realme X2 Pro Master Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Soc and comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Based on the 7nm manufacturing process, the SD 855+ is current;y among the fastest mobile SoCs available for Android smartphones. The handset features plenty of connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5, and 4G VoLTE.

The Realme X2 Pro gets a quad-camera setup at the rear with the primary camera using Samsung’s 64MP GW1 sensor, which is mated to an f/1.8 lens. The secondary camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor, which is clubbed together with an f/2.5 telephoto lens. The third 8MP camera gets an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view. The fourth camera uses a macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the handset gets a 16-megapixel camera that is housed under a notch.

Realme X2 Pro Master Edition Price in India

As mentioned earlier, the Realme X2 Pro Master Edition comes in two color options — Red Brick and Concrete. Both these versions are priced at INR 34,999 in India, making them slightly pricier than the top-end standard version that sells for INR 33,999. Both the Master Edition versions will be on sale starting 8:55 PM December 24, 2019.
