
A little while ago, Realme announced the official roadmap for the customized version of the latest ColorOS 7 update for its devices. The company has made the fact official that the version of the ColorOS 7 which will be rolled out to the Realme devices will be different from the one the Oppo devices are going to get. We can expect the “Realme UI” to be closer to stock Android as confirmed by Madhav Sheth a little while ago during an interview. Now, the ColorOS 7 beta testing program has finally got announced and the users of the Realme X2 Pro devices can register for the same (how? we’ll tell you how).
Here’s how you can register for the Realme X2 Pro ColorOS 7 beta testing program
Before registering for the Realme X2 Pro ColorOS 7 beta testing program, you need to make sure that you fulfill the below-mentioned criteria:
- You must be an Indian resident
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must own a Realme X2 Pro device as the beta recruitment is only open for the said device as of now
- You must have some sort of provable experience in OS beta testing
- You must be willing to provide your Aadhar card details (or any other identification proof for that matter)
- You must be willing to sign a No Disclosure Agreement (NDA), the infringement of which would necessitate a legal action

Timeline for the Realme X2 Pro ColorOS 7 beta testing
- Applications are accepted from November 27 to December 3, 2019
- Successful applicants will be contacted via email
- The final list of Beta testers will be announced in this same thread on 9th December
- Beta testing will commence from December 18, 2019

The Beta testers from Realme X2 Pro, Project X and realme XT ColorOS 6.7 Beta, who have proven themselves to be valuable beta testers will also be given chance to try their hands on ColorOS 7 Beta testing. The final list of the Beta testers selected will be announced on 9th December. The work on Beta testing will be conducted for approximately 2 months starting from 18th December 2019 to February 2020. Information and feedback will be collected from the ColorOS 7 Beta program to further enhance the user interface experience better.
