The Realme RMX2086, which, we know from the recent leaks, is the Realme X3 SuperZoom, has just been certified through Singapore’s IMDA certification agency.

We have just spotted a listing of an unannounced Realme smartphone on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform. According to the listing, the smartphone comes bearing the model number RMX2086 and more importantly, the listing reveals that the retail name of the smartphone is Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition. Going by the naming convention, it looks like the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition will be an advanced variant, with high zooming capabilities, of the Realme X3 that is expected to launch soon as a successor to the Realme X2.

We had earlier spotted the RMX2086 on Geekbench, EEC, and BIS platforms as well but back then we did not have a name for the smartphone. However, now that NBTC has revealed that the RMX2086 is Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition, let us also check out what the device’s listing on Geekbench, EEC, and BIS platforms reveal.

As you can see in the image above, the NBTC listing reveals that the model number of the smartphone is RMX2086 and that its retail name if Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition. According to the listing, the device supports GSM, WCDMA, and LTE networks, and there is no mention of it supporting 5G network, which most probably means that the device will not come with a 5G-equipped chipset like the Snapdragon 765G, MediaTek Dimensity 1000, or even the Snapdragon 865.

The fact that Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition will not feature a 5G-equipped chipset such as the Snapdragon 765G, MediaTek Dimensity 1000, or even the Snapdragon 865, is evident by the device’s listing on Geekbench. The benchmarking platform reveals that the RealmeX3 SuperZoom Edition features ‘msmnile’ motherboard, which we know is for the Snapdragon 855 SoC. Plus, the benchmark result, where the device has scored 788 points in the single-core test and 2,624 in the multi-core test, also suggests that it is the Snapdragon 855 SoC. The Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition has appeared on EEC as well. Although it doesn’t reveal any specifications of key details of the smartphone. Lastly, the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition has been certified through BIS, which is an Indian certification agency, suggesting that the Realme X2 SuperZoom Edition will launch in the Indian market.
