Realme will launch its first-ever 5G smartphone in India on February 24, 2020. The Realme X50 Pro 5G will not only be the country’s first 5G smartphone, but it will also be the first to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. So far, we have received plenty of intel surrounding the specifications of the device and now the price of the Realme X50 Pro 5G has been leaked.
Realme X50 Pro 5G Indian Price Leaked Ahead of the Launch
As per the source, the first 5G smartphone in India, the Realme X50 Pro 5G would be priced somewhere around Rs 50,000 in India. The price has been tipped to the source by a company official, who does not wish to be identified, for obvious reasons. “Realme 5G handset will be powered with 865 Snapdragon chipset and available at around Rs. 50,000,” says the official.
This would put the Realme X50 Pro 5G straight into the upper mid-range to premium bracket of the smartphones in India. The iQOO 3 5G, for instance, is going to compete with the Realme X50 Pro 5G in terms of being amongst the first 5G devices in India. The price of the 5G variant of the iQOO 3 smartphone is tipped to be somewhere around Rs 45,000. If the Realme X50 Pro 5G leaked price turns out to be legit, it would be pretty interesting to see as to how the device fares in India. Realme has so far not crossed the Rs 30,000 barrier in India.
Coming to the specifications of the Realme X50 Pro 5G, the device will feature a Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. In the camera department, the Realme X50 Pro 5G will flaunt a quad rear camera setup, including a 64MP primary sensor with 20X zooming capability, an advanced video stabilization technology, ability to record videos with ultrawide camera and videos with portrait blur effect, and a powerful night scene mode. At the front, the device will sport a dual punch-hole camera setup with a 32MP primary camera and an ultra-wide supporting camera unit.
Under the hood, the Realme X50 Pro 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, which will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.0 storage. Whether or not internal storage will have scope for expansion is anyone’s guess as of now. Nevertheless, since the Vanilla Realme X50 did not have an external SD card slot, we can expect the Realme X50 Pro 5G to ditch one too. The Realme X50 Pro 5G will feature a whopping 65W of SuperDart charging. The battery capacity of the device, however, has not been revealed so far.
In case you want to buy the Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphone, the same would be made available on Flipkart and the company’s official online store.
As of now, this is all we know about the Realme X50 Pro 5G, but we are sure to receive more intel on the same in the comments section below.
