Realme, earlier this week, launched the Realme X7 Max 5G smartphone in the country. The handset was launched a couple of months back in China but with a different name – Realme GT Neo. The Realme X7 Max is the first smartphone in India to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 mobile processor. The smartphone is 5G enabled as the name suggests, and supports 7 5G bands in total. The Realme X7 Max will retail in Asteroid Black, Mercury Silver, and Milky Way color variants. Realme is offering the handset in two storage-memory configurations, and the following are the prices of both variants,

Realme X7 Max 5G: Specifications and Features

The Realme X7 Max features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display houses a punch-hole notch on the top left corner, and an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.

Under-the-hood, the smartphone packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC built on a 6nm fabrication process. The graphics duties on the handset are handled by an integrated ARM G77 MC9 GPU. The smartphone retails in up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It boots Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11.

In terms of optics, the smartphone offers a 64MP triple-rear camera setup with an LED flash. The primary 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor gets coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16MP shooter for selfies, and video calls.

Moving to the battery, the Realme X7 Max packs a 4,500mAh with 50W fast charging support. Realme bundles a 65W SuperDart charger with the smartphone. The handset offers a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack with Hi-res audio, and a stereo speaker setup. The smartphone supports 7 5G bands in total including N1, N28A, N40, N41, N77, N78, N79.

Other connectivity options include Dual Sim, 5G, 4G, 2.4/5GHz WiFi, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and Dual-frequency GPS, GLONSS, BEIDOU, GALILEO, QZSS.
