The tweet revealed that brand is prepping to launch a Dimenisty 1200 powered smartphone in India. However, the tweet didn’t exactly reveal the name of the handset. The teaser is believed to regarding the X7 Max only, as this upcoming phone is rumoured to be the Realme GT Neo rebrand which packs Dimensity 1200 chipset.

A new leak by @byhimanshu reveals that the Realme X7 Max will be available in two RAM and storage configurations. The base X7 Max model is likely to pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the higher-end variant might ship with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As mentioned above, the leak also discloses the colour options in which the phone will come in. The device might be available in Mercury Silver, Asteroid Black, and Milky Way colour options when it launches. As of now, the phone’s other specifications such as its display size, camera configuration, and battery capacity details remain unknown. Additionally, as mentioned above, Realme is yet to confirm the new launch date of the Realme X7 Max in India.

Speculations are rife that this upcoming handset that is launching in India is a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo that was launched in China. Assuming this speculation, the Realme X7 Max should feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device under the hood could be Dimensity 1200 SoC. The phone as revealed through a new leak might be available in 8GB/12GB RAM choices along with 128GB/256GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device might run Android 11 out of the box. As far as the imaging details of the handset go, it might feature a triple-camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor. The phone is supposed to ship with a 4500mAh battery that might have 50W fast charging support.
