While Realme did debut the Realme XT handset in India today as expected, the company also teased an upgraded Realme XT 730G which is slated for launch in December by the end of the event. Realme CEO gave away the entire spec-sheet of the upcoming handset on the stage screen and also said that the handset is aimed at gamers since it features the new Snapdragon 730G SoC from Qualcomm. The exact launch dates and pricing still remain a mystery but there are plenty of specifications to know.

The Realme XT 730G, as it is called, has a Hyperbola 3D Glass Design and it is a departure from the usual polycarbonate finish seen on Realme budget devices. The Realme XT 730G will also boast the same camera setup as its younger sibling – 64MP quad-camera. It will also be rock a Super AMOLED display with an integrated in-screen fingerprint reader powered by a 4,000mAh battery. And of course, there’s 30W VOOC Flash Charge which is, interestingly, also an upgraded version of VOOC 3.0 that tops out at 20W.

Of course, a lot of specifics have not been shared yet but we wouldn’t be surprised to see mostly the same hardware as the standard Realme XT. The handset is believed to have passed TENAA under the model number RMX1991 and this handset has a 32MP selfie shooter instead of the 16MP found on the standard Realme XT. So, that could be one more change.

Meanwhile, the Realme XT is set to go on sale starting September 16th on Flipkart and Realme.com from 12 PM and the base model is priced very aggressively at Rs 15,999. The high-end variant with 8GB of RAM goes up to Rs 18,999. The company also debuted its power bank and wireless buds for the first time in the country.
