Nubia is working on its next gaming flagship smartphone. The company is expected to launch the RedMagic 7 series early next year. The company is expected to launch two devices at least under the series, which are likely to be called the RedMagic 7 and the 7 Pro. There is no official word on the launch date yet. However, going by the launch time of the Redmi Magic 6 series, we can expect its successor to launch in March 2022. While we wait for some official details, the vanilla RedMagic 7 has visited the Bluetooth SIG certification website. Let’s take a look at the Nubia RedMagic 7 specs, features and other leaked details.
RedMagic 7 Bluetooth SIG
The Nubia RedMagic 7 is listed on the Bluetooth SIG with the model number NX679J. The moniker of the device was confirmed on the certification website. It also confirms that the flagship gaming smartphone will support Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity standard. Unfortunately, it does not reveal any details around the device’s performance unit.
This is also the first time we have spotted the device online. Hence, there is very limited information available on the web. That being said, we can expect more such listings on certification websites in the coming days.
Since the RedMagic 7 is a gaming flagship, we can expect it to pack the upcoming Qualcomm flagship chip, which could be called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The upcoming mobile processor is rumoured to have a 1+ 3 + 4 cluster with the prime core clocked at 3.0GHz and three performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz. There will also be four efficiency cores clocked at 1.79GHz, according to rumours. We will have to wait for the official event to get more details on the processor.
The Nubia flagship gaming phone is also likely to come with a 165Hz OLED display, up to 120W fast charging and possibly up to 16GB of RAM. We can also expect the device to offer some advanced thermal management to control the heat while performing intensive tasks. More details of the device will be shared once available.
