Xiaomi launched the Redmi 10 globally back in August and Redmi 10 Prime in India in September 2021. Now, the company is preparing to launch Redmi 10 (2022) smartphone. Recently, the upcoming Redmi 10 (2022) was spotted on multiple certification websites hinting at imminent launch along with camera details. Now, the device has been spotted on FCC revealing RAM and storage information. Let’s take a look at some of the new information of the Redmi 10 (2022).

As per the listing on FCC, the device with the 22011119UY model number is likely to be part of the upcoming Redmi 10 (2022). The listing confirms the phone will come in two configurations 一 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. Apart from that, the phone will run on MIUI 12.5 out of the box which should be based on Android 11. Previously, this smartphone was spotted with a different model number which means, we could see the device in India as Redmi 10 Prime 2022.

Furthermore, the FCC listing also reveals the device will come with a dual SIM option and will support 4G connectivity and not 5G. Apart from these, the website doesn’t offer much detail about the phone. But, as per the previously leaked report, the Redmi 10 2022 will include a Samsung S5KJN1 or OmniVision OV50C40 50MP primary camera, a Sony IMX355 8MP lens, and an OmniVision OV02B1B or GC02M1B 2MP lens. As of now, the device has gained the TKDN, SDPPI, Europe’s EEC, Singapore’s IMDA, and TUV certification.

Rumours also suggest the phone will be similar to Redmi 10 which was launched a few months ago in India and features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. On the inside, the phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that offers 18W fast charging support.
