Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G Firmware Spotted, Could Launch in India Soon

The Redmi 10 Prime+ is codenamed light, same as the Redmi Note 11E.


Xiaomi appears to be working on a new handset under the Redmi 10 lineup. The upcoming Redmi handset might launch as the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G in the Indian market. The Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G is codenamed light. Folks at Xiaomi Firmware Updater posted MIUI India ROM firmware link for the upcoming device. To those unware, the Redmi Note 11E, launched a couple of months back in China, also carries codename light.

Redmi 10 Prime Plus 5G

On the basis of the codename, the upcoming Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G appears to be rebranded Redmi Note 11E 5G. The new development is in line with the claims made by Kacper Skrzypek. To those unaware, back in March, Kacper had claimed that the Redmi Note 11E 5G will make its debut as Redmi 10 5G, Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G, and Poco M4 5G in the different markets.

The Poco M4 5G was launched last month in India and now it appears that Xiaomi is bringing the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G soon to the Indian market.

Redmi Note 11E 5G Specifications and Features

The Note 11E offers a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and a Mali G57 GPU. It makes use of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS2.2 storage. The handset boots Android 11 based MIUI. However, the Redmi 10 Prime+ might launch with MIUI 13, based on Android 12 in India.

The Note 11E is equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and 18W fast charging support. It has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP rear shooter and a 2MP portrait sensor. There is also a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The handset offer a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Note 11E comes in three colour options – black, gray, and green. It weighs 200grams and measures 163.99×76.09×8.9mm.
