Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of the Redmi 10 Prime in India. The company has teased the launch of its new Redmi phone via cryptic tweets. These tweets include various prime numbers that suggest the launch of the Redmi 10 Prime.
The Redmi 10 launched globally is expected to arrive as the Redmi 10 Prime in India. It comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD with an adaptive refresh rate, which switches between 45, 60 and 90Hz. The screen has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.
The phone has a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging. The device boots MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
On the back, the phone has a quad-camera setup. The device has a 50MP primary camera sensor, paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. It also has two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP front camera. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device weighs around 181 grams and is 8.9mm thick.
The base 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at $179 (roughly Rs 13,300). There is also a 4GB + 128GB variant priced at $199 (roughly Rs 14,800).
