Redmi 10A Global Variant with Helio G25 SoC, 2GB RAM Listed on Geekbench Ahead of Launch

The global variant of the Redmi 10A will be shipped with Android 11.


In the last couple of weeks, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 10A handset in the Chinese and Indian markets. The brand is now gearing up to launch its budget offering in the global markets. Though Xiaomi has started sharing teasers for the upcoming launch, it is yet to reveal the global launch date. Ahead of the launch, we have now spotted the upcoming device on the Geekbench benchmark database. Alongside it, the handset has also been spotted on Bluetooth SIG and the Global Certification Forum.

The database listing suggests that the global variant of the Redmi 10A will also be powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor. Let us take a closer look at the Redmi 10A Geekbench score and specifications.

The Xiaomi Redmi 10A made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmark database with model number 220233L2G. The handset managed to score 132 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, the score was recorded as 486 points.

The benchmark listing reveals that the global variant of the Redmi 10A will be powered by a MT6762G processor. Based on this, it appears that the Redmi 10A Global version will also be powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor. Apart from it, the listing confirms a 2GB RAM variant of the Redmi 10A for the global markets. The budget Redmi device will boot Android 11.

Redmi 10A Specifications and Features

Since the Redmi 10A has already been launched in India and China, the specifications of the device are known. The handset offers a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch. The Redmi 10A comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit and supports 10W charging.

The Redmi 10A offers a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It also offers a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a micro-USB charging port.
