Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 11 Prime 5G in India on September 6. Ahead of the launch, the brand has now confirmed that the Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be accompanied by the Redmi 11 Prime. The brand took it to social media channels to make a formal announcement for the same and also revealed the first look of the upcoming Redmi 11 Prime. The launch teaser reveals that the Redmi 11 Prime will offer a triple-rear camera setup and will have a textured back panel.

Ahead of the launch, a microsite has gone live on Amazon which reveals some of the key specifications and colour options of the upcoming Redmi 11 Prime. Redmi 11 Prime Might Be a Rebranded POCO M5

Amazon micro-site reveals that the Redmi 11 Prime will launch in three colour options – Black, Mint Green, and Purple. The device will feature a full-screen display with a waterdrop notch similar to the Redmi 11 Prime 5G. The smartphone appears to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which might be embedded in the power button.

Redmi India has confirmed that the upcoming Prime series device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor. This suggests that the Redmi 11 Prime could be a rebranded POCO M5 which is launching on September 5 in India. Also, the camera placement of the Redmi 11 Prime appears to be the same as the POCO M5.

Further, the launch micro-site reveals that the Redmi 11 Prime will come equipped with a 50MP primary camera on the rear. The smartphone will be backed by a 5000mAh battery unit. The Redmi 11 Prime is expected to offer a 90Hz display panel.
