Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi 12 smartphone in India on August 1. The company is expected to launch the device in 4G and 5G variants. The Redmi 12 5G is expected to be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 12R, whereas the Redmi 12 4G model is already launched in Thailand. The brand has already confirmed that the device will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Amazon in India. Additionally, the company has revealed previously that the Redmi 12 4G will debut in Jade Black, Pastel Blue, and Moonlight Silver colour. While we wait for the launch of the device, its pricing is now revealed by tipster Abhishek Yadav.
Redmi 12 4G, Redmi 12 5G Pricing Tipped
As per the tipster, the upcoming Redmi 12 5G will launch in a 6GB/8GB RAM configuration along with 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The leak also reveals that the Redmi 12 5G price in India could start at Rs 13,999. On the other hand, the Redmi 12 4G is expected to debut in 4GB/6GB RAM configuration along with 128GB of internal storage. The tipster reveals that the Redmi 12 4G price in India will start at Rs 9,999.
The Redmi 12 4G is already debuted in Thailand so we are already aware of its specifications. The handset features a 6.79-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by an octa-core Helio G88 processor. For the optics purpose, the handset features a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone features an 8MP selfie camera and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It packs a 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging support.
