Redmi has announced a price drop on the Redmi 12C budget smartphone in India. It is the latest Xiaomi/Redmi phone to receive a discount as we previously reported about sales on the Redmi K50i, Redmi Note 12 5G, and the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The limited-time price drop makes the budget phone featuring a 6.71-inch HD display, 5,000mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G85 processor, fingerprint sensor, and 50MP dual cameras an even more attractive proposition.

Redmi 12C Now Available for Rs 7,999 in India
The Redmi 12C price drop is applicable only on the base variant that comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The good thing is there is no such restriction on the colour options. You can pick the phone in Matte Black, Royal Blue, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple.
The smartphone launched in April for Rs 8,999 but is currently listed at Rs 8,799 on Amazon India. This is a direct savings of Rs 200 but you can save another Rs 800 for a limited time through special offers.
You can get an instant discount of Rs 800 if the Redmi 12C is purchased using an ICICI credit card, HDFC credit card, or HDFC debit card. It is important to note that the discount is applicable only for EMI orders. Alternatively, you can buy the phone through UPI and receive an Rs 800 discount as Amazon Pay cashback.
This way, you will be able to buy Redmi 12C for an effective price of Rs 7,999 which is a flat Rs 1,000 off on the launch price. Amazon has mentioned June 15 as the last date for the credit/debit card offer. The deadline for availing of the UPI offer is unknown.
