Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is working towards the launch of the Redmi 13C smartphone. This upcoming smartphone from Redmi will succeed the Redmi 12C. We have been learning new details about the Redmi 13C courtesy of several leaks from the last few weeks. The smartphone was spotted at NBTC as well as the EEC certification website a couple of days back. The NBTC certification confirmed the moniker and model number of the device as 23106RN0DA. Now, the live images of the Redmi 13C are leaked online which also reveals a few specifications.
Redmi 13C Will Feature 90Hz Display, 50MP Triple-Camera Setup
The live images which come courtesy of Newzonly reveal the front and rear design of the device. The protective film on the smartphone also confirms a few key specifications. It reveals that the Redmi 13C will sport a 6.74-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will have a water-drop shape notch at the centre of the display which will accommodate the selfie camera. Furthermore, the live images also confirms that the device will be powered by an octa-core chipset. The smartphone will feature a triple-camera setup which will consist of a 50MP primary camera.
The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery which will support 18W fast charging. The previous leak had revealed that the smartphone will feature a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. At present the launch date of the device remains unknown. However, we can expect the smartphone to go official next month. As per the previous leak, the same smartphone is expected to debut in some markets with the POCO C65 moniker.
The upcoming Redmi 13C will be a successor to the Redmi 12C as mentioned above. To recall, the Redmi 12C made its debut in India back in March this year alongside the Redmi Note 12 4G. The Redmi 12C is powered by an octa-core Helio G85 SoC which is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
When it comes to imaging, the Redmi 12C has a dual-camera setup which consists of a 50MP primary camera and a 0.08MP depth sensor. The other key features which the device offers include a 5MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 10W charging support.
