The special gaming edition phone is built in collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG F1 team. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and offers up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support and Displaymate A+ rating. In terms of optics, you get a 64MP main camera (Sony IMX686), a 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the phone comes with a 20MP Sony IMX596 sensor.

On the inside, the phone is backed by a 4700mAh battery unit with support for 120W fast charging. A full charge will take just 17 minutes. Since it’s a gaming phone, it does offer a bunch of gaming-centric features. There is a large 4860mm² dual vapour chamber for heat dissipation and better airflow. You also get shoulder keys, a game tuner, and 4D vibration to enhance the gaming experience and the phone comes with a metal midframe. For audio, the phone offers a JBL-tuned stereo speaker setup, Dolby Atmos support, and Hi-Res audio certification. It runs on Android 12 based on MIUI 13. This device is also expected to launch as Poco F4 GT outside China.
