Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G in China. The company is working on launching another Redmi smartphone with a 50MP camera. The name of this upcoming Redmi smartphone remains unknown at the moment. However, the camera specifications of the upcoming smartphone have leaked online. Tipster Abhishek Yadav, citing Digital Chat Station, has shared an image of the device. The image reveals the camera module and its specs. It suggests that the upcoming Redmi smartphone will use a 50MP 1/1.12-inch GN2 sensor. It is the same sensor found in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. Xiaomi recently launched the Mi 11 Ultra in China with a 1/1.12” sensor. The company is now rumoured to launch a Redmi phone with the same sensor.

According to leaked information, the device will come with a triple-camera setup on the back. It will have a 50MP 1/1.12-inch Samsung GN2 sensor, which is also found on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. It means that the upcoming Redmi smartphone is a premium offering. The primary sensor will come with an f/1.95 aperture and 4-in-1 pixel binning. It will also support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).


The tipster further notes that the smartphone will have a 13MP ultra-wide camera sensor. It will have a 123-degree field of view and an f/2.4 aperture. Lastly, the smartphone will feature a periscope lens with up to 50x zoom. The telephoto camera will have an 8MP sensor and support OIS.
