To start off with the design, all the three phones looks different from each other which is a good thing. The Redmi 9 Power and Redmi 9 Prime come with a textured polycarbonate finish, while the Redmi Note 9 offers a glossy finish. The Redmi 9 Power comes with vertically-aligned cameras at the top-left corner, while there is a big Redmi branding at the base. The Note 9 follows the design language of the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max with the square-camera module at the back panel. That said, all three chipsets offer some great performance in this price range. Although, the MediaTek Helio G80 and G85 will deliver slightly better gaming performance as compared to the Snapdragon 662. As you can clearly see the Redmi 9 Power offers you better battery backup as compared to the rest of the smartphones.

To conclude, the difference between Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9 Prime and Redmi Note 9 is not that huge, to be honest. We agree that the smartphones look different when it comes to design language, however, most of the internals are same. It seems that the Redmi 9 Power is the bridge between the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi 9 Prime as the phone offers you the specs and features of both the phones.
That said, the difference in price is more like Rs 1,000 for the base variants. So, if you are confused which phone to buy then here it is. If you want good gaming performance then you can choose either Redmi 9 Prime and Redmi Note 9. If you want a mix of both casual gaming and longer battery life the Redmi 9 Power is a good option.
