Redmi 9A Renders and Key Specifications Leaked, Helio G25 SoC, 6.53-inch Display and More Revealed

Renders and specifications of the upcoming Redmi 9A smartphone have popped up on the internet ahead of launch.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is gearing up for the launch of its entry-level smartphone, dubbed the Redmi 9A on June 30, 2020 in Malaysia. Soon after that, we can expect the device to be released in other markets as well. While we pretty much know the specifications and features of the device already, we were totally unaware as to what the device would look like. Well, it turns out that we now have a working clue about the looks of the Redmi 9A, as a newly leaked report has given us a glimpse of the device’s frontal, as well as its rear. Take a look at what the Redmi 9A smartphone will reportedly look like.

As seen in the render images, the Redmi 9A will feature a waterdrop notch display, which will make room for a 5MP selfie shooter. At the back, the Redmi 9A will feature a single camera (13MP), which will be coupled with an LED flash. the camera module will be vertically aligned and a vertical stripe will emerge from it and end at the bottom of the device’s rear, wherein there will be a Redmi logo. The device will be available in three color schemes – Black, Blue, and Green.

The power button and the volume up and down buttons will be on the right side of the device, while the SIM tray will be on the left side. The top and the bottom views of the Redmi 9A are not clearly visible, so we cannot make out as to what all we might see there, but there are chances more than enough that the Redmi 9A will make room for a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Powering the Redmi 9A will be a MediaTek Helio G25 processor, which will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card. On the software side of things, the Redmi 9A will likely boot the latest

-based OS out of the box with the company’s MIUI skin baked on top of it. Coming to the battery of the device, the Redmi 9A will feature a 5,000mAh battery.

As far as the launch date is concerned, the Redmi 9A will launch in Malaysia on June 30, 2020 alongside the Redmi 9C.
