Redmi Buds 4, Buds 4 Pro with Active Noise Cancellation, 36 Hours of Battery Life Launched: Price, Specifications

Xiaomi launched the 12T series at its event in Europe on October 4. Alongside the 12T series, the company also unveiled the Redmi Pad and the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro. The Redmi Pad is already available for purchase in India. Xiaomi also unveiled its new pair of truly wireless earbuds, the Redmi Buds 4 series. The company has launched two models in the series. These include the Redmi Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro.

The Redmi Buds 4 Pro are the more premium and feature-rich of the two earbuds. They are expected to launch in India in the coming weeks. Xiaomi has not confirmed any details about the launch. While we wait for that, let’s take a look at the Redmi Buds 4 series price, specifications and other details.

Redmi Buds 4, 4 Pro Price and Specifications 

The Redmi Buds 4 is currently available in Europe for EUR 59.99, which is roughly Rs 4,900. It has been launched in two colours – Light Blue and Gloss White. The more premium Buds 4 Pro is priced at EUR 99.99 (roughly Rs 8,100). It can be bought in Midnight Black and Moon White colours.

The Buds 4 Pro features 10mm + 6mm dual audio drivers with support for Hi-Res Audio and LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs. They support customisable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and can reduce noise up to 43dB. Each earbud has a stem design to control music playback, adjust ANC, etc. Xiaomi claims that the Buds 4 Pro offer up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge. With the charging case combined, one can get up to 36 hours of total juice.

The standard Buds 4, on the other hand, feature 10mm drivers. The earbuds are completely in-ear and compact. There is no stem and instead, the outer area of the earbuds offers touch controls. They feature support for hybrid ANC. 

The vanilla Buds 4 can last up to six hours, whereas the charging case adds another 24 hours. The Buds 4 series is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance.
