As you might know, the Redmi K20 Pro made its debut alongside the Redmi K20 on 28th May at an event in China. Soon after the debut in China, Xiaomi revealed that the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro will launch in the Indian market in the next six weeks, i.e., sometime around mid-July. Although we haven’t reviewed the device yet, the Redmi K20 Pro has the best specifications among all the smartphones in its price range. Speaking of specifications, let us have a look at what the smartphone has to offer, and also its expected price in India.
Redmi K20 Pro Specifications
The Redmi K20 Pro is the first smartphone from Xiaomi to feature a pop-up front-facing camera, and this has allowed the display to be bezel-less and free from any kind of notch. The display is a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED unit with Full HD+ resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and HDR.
Powering the Redmi K20 Pro is the Qualcomm’s flagship chipset for 2019, the Snapdragon 855; it has eight Kryo 485 cores and Adreno 640 GPU. Like most other Xiaomi smartphones nowadays, the Redmi K20 Pro has Android 9 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 customization. The 48MP rear camera can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second. As I mentioned earlier, the smartphone has a pop-up front-facing camera, and it has a 20MP resolution.
The Redmi K20 Pro has a 4000mAh battery that supports 27W Quick Charge 4+ fast charging. The connectivity options on the Redmi K20 Pro include dual-SIM, dual-VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
