As most of you might know, the Redmi K20 has already been launched in China, alongside the Redmi K20 Pro. The Redmi K20, as well as, the Redmi K20 Pro are expected to launch in India between 15th and 17th of July. Let us have a look at the Redmi K20’s expected price in India, and also its specifications.

Redmi K20 Expected Price in India

Usually, Redmi smartphones cost the same in India as they do in China. So, considering the Redmi K20’s China price, it could launch in the Indian market for INR 19,999 for the base variant and could go up to 21,999 for the top-end variant.

At this price point, the Redmi K20 will compete directly with the likes of Motorola One Vision, Oppo F11 Pro, and the Vivo V15. And at least from specifications perspective, the Redmi K20 beats every other smartphone in the expected price range.

Redmi K20 Specifications

The Redmi K20 is one of the very few smartphones in the market to feature a notch-free display. And in spite of its affordable price tag, the Redmi K20 has an AMOLED screen, instead of an IPS LCD that you see in most other smartphones. The display is a 6.39-inch unit with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display also has HDR and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Redmi K20 features a triple-camera setup at the rear that consists of a 48MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The primary camera can record 4K videos. The front-facing camera is a 20MO unit that sits in a motorized pop-up module above the display.

Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, which has eight Kryo 470 CPU cores, and Adreno 618. The smartphone comes in three variants – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The device ships with Android 9 Pie operating system, and the OS has MIUI 10 customization over it.

The Redmi K20 packs a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Unlike most other smartphones nowadays that skip on the 3.5mm audio jack, the Redmi K20 features one. The smartphone also comes with a USB Type-C port, compared to the older, microUSB port that most other smartphones in the segment feature. Moreover, the Redmi K20 has an in-display fingerprint scanner, making it one of the very few smartphones in the segment to feature one. Other features of the smartphone include dual-band Wi-Fi ac, dual-SIM with dual-VoLTE, and Bluetooth v5.0.
