Redmi K30 With Dual-Mode 5G to Launch on December 10 in China

We have been getting plenty of leaks and rumors surrounding the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi K30 lineup of smartphones. We already know that the Redmi K30 will feature a dual punch-hole display. As far as the launch date is concerned, it was first heard that the Redmi K30 would launch somewhere in Q1, 2020. Post that, the company made it clear that the device would indeed launch in the month of December only. Finally, the company has given us the launch date as well.

The company has made the news official via a promotional poster for the device that it posted a little while ago on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. As per the poster, the Redmi K30 will launch on December 10. Furthermore, the poster also confirms that the Redmi K30 will have dual-mode 5G support (Non-Standalone and Standalone networks) in China.

As far as the specifications of the Redmi K30 are concerned, we don’t know much about the device as of now other than the fact that the device will have a dual punch-hole display. That said, a little while ago, a bunch of live shots of the device got leaked which suggests that the device could feature a 120Hz refresh rate display. The device will run on MIUI 11 out of the box. Moreover, we could get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with the Redmi K30.

The launch date of the Redmi K30 sits right in the middle of the Huawei Nova 6 (which is launching on December 5) and the upcoming Oppo Reno 3 (which is pegged to launch on December 13). Furthermore, Realme has also announced its first 5G smartphone dubbed the Realme X50 5G. The launch date of the device, however, has not been confirmed yet.

As of now, this is all we know about the Redmi K30, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days.
