Redmi K30 Pop-Up Selfie Camera Confirmed in Latest Renders Ahead of the Official Launch on March 24

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will launch the Redmi K30 Pro 5G smartphone on March 24, 2020. Alongside the Redmi K30 Pro 5G, the company is also supposedly going to launch the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. We were able to spot the latter yesterday on the Geekbench database website, which gave us some key specifications of the device (Read here). Well for now, let’s keep our focus on the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone. Earlier today, the company posted an official render image of the device, which gives us a working clue as to what the Redmi K30 Pro is going to look like – front and back. Take a look at the latest render image of the Redmi K30 Pro and see what it has in store for us.

This is What the Redmi K30 Pro Looks Like

As seen in the render image, the Redmi K30 Pro will come in two paintjobs (at least for now) – Blue and White. The front of the device appears to be almost bezel-less, owing to the pop-up selfie snapper arrangement that the company has made for the device. We can see antenna lines on the sides of the device. Furthermore, the top of the Redmi K30 Pro houses a slot for a 3.5mm headphone jack. At the back, the Redmi K30 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup, which includes a 64MP primary sensor. The resolution of the rest of the cameras, including the front camera, is anyone’s guess for now. Just like the recently launched Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphones, the Redmi K30 Pro will also have a horizontally-engraved Redmi logo at the back.

As far as the rest of the specifications are concerned, the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone will run on the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be paired with an LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS3.1 storage. On the software front, the Redmi K30 Pro will certainly ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, which will most likely be covered with the company’s in-house MIUI 11 layer on top. Though the presence of Android 10 is not officially confirmed by the brand, we can safely assume it to be there owing to the fact that the Geekbench listing for the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition has confirmed the same for that particular device. The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition was spotted with 8GB of RAM, by the way. If you are curious to learn more about this, you can head to our previous coverage for the same.

As far as charging is concerned, the Redmi K30 Pro is allegedly going to sport 33W fast charging. The battery capacity, however, is not known for now.

As of now, this is pretty much all the information we have surrounding the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone, but since the launch date is only a week from now, we can safely expect to hear more about it in the coming days.
