Redmi is said to be working on a new gaming smartphone called the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. We have already witnessed an array of leaks and rumours about the handset in the last couple of weeks. Recently, the company officially confirmed that the first gaming phone from the brand will be going to launch on April 27th. While confirming the launch date, the company has also revealed the design of the upcoming gaming phone.

Now in the latest development, the company has shared one more teaser poster on its official Weibo handle confirming that the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Let’s have a closer look at the new announcement.

Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition Confirmed Specifications

The company has shared a post on its official Weibo handle revealing that the upcoming Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Besides, the company did reveal anything about the RAM and storage information about the upcoming gaming phone. In the previous post, the company confirmed the launch date of the handset in China on April 27th.

During the launch announcement, the company shared a teaser image revealing that the handset will arrive with a triple-rear camera along with an LED flash. The company also confirmed that the gaming smartphone will feature hardcore gaming and deliver flagship gaming performance. Furthermore, Redmi has also suggested that the handset will be slick and offer a light body design. The teaser shared by the company also confirmed that the gaming smartphone will also feature shoulder buttons which are going to be triggered by a dedicated button.

Going with the speculations, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition is expected to launch with an AMOLED E4 display with a 144Hz refresh rate support. As far as cameras are concerned, the gaming handset is tipped to ship with a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor.
