Redmi K50 launch date remains unknown at the moment. The entry-level flagship from Redmi is expected to launch in the coming weeks. Ahead of the official launch date announcement, a new report has leaked the design renders of the phone. Tipster OnLeaks and Bestopedia claim that the Redmi flagship will have a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 64MP main camera sensor, according to the report.

The camera placement is the same as the Pro model. It has a triple-camera setup placed on a dual-step camera module. The three sensors are placed in a triangular position. The LED flash is located below the camera sensors. Xiaomi is expected to offer an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera on the K50.

At the front, the phone has a 6.6-inch flat display. There is a hole punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The bezels around the display are quite narrow, except for the slightly thick chin. At the bottom edge lies the USB Type-C port, speaker grille and the primary microphone. The phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The K50 will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is placed on the power button. Above the power button are the volume keys, which are located on the right side of the frame. Other specs expected include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC or a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset on the vanilla model. The phone is rumoured to pack a 4700 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It will also have a high refresh rate display. The AMOLED display on the K50 will have a 120Hz panel. It will run Android 12-based MIUI 13 in China.
