Redmi is gearing up for the K50 series launch in China. The company will unveil its flagship series in China later this month. Under the flagship series, the Xiaomi sub-brand is expected to launch four new smartphones at least. These include the Redmi K50, K50 Pro, Pro+, and the Gaming Edition.

Redmi K50 series will debut in China later this month, according to the teasers posted on Weibo by Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing. The exact launch date remains unknown but we can expect the devices to be unveiled in China before February 25.

Details of the Redmi flagship smartphones have surfaced online in the past. A new leak by tipster Sam (@Shadow_leak on Twitter) claims to have leaked the pricing details of the four models. The base K50 will be priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 23,600). It is said to feature a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. The phone is also rumoured to support 67W fast charging out of the box.
The K50 Pro will feature a Dimensity 8000 SoC, which is yet to be officially announced. Oddly this variant is tipped to support a marginally slower 66W fast charging. It will be priced at CNY 2699 (roughly Rs 31,800), according to the tipster.
Redmi K50 Pro+ will come with a Dimensity 9000 SoC and support 120W fast charging out of the box. The phone is said to be priced at CNY 3299 (roughly Rs 38,900) for the base variant. Lastly, the K50 Gaming Edition will be priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs 41,300). It will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and support 120W fast charging. This variant is expected to launch first, whereas the K50 Pro+ with Dimensity 9000 will launch later this year.
The four Redmi smartphones are tipped to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Gaming Edition model will pack a 4700 mAh battery. All four models could feature a triple-camera setup on the back. The Redmi smartphones will boot Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
