Redmi K50 series performance unit specs leaked
Redmi K50 series is expected to launch early next year in China, if not in December 2021. Ahead of the launch, a new leak reveals the performance unit details of the Redmi flagship. According to MyDrivers, one of the Redmi K50 series flagship smartphones will feature MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 2000 SoC. The flagship MediaTek chip based on a 4nm fabrication process is likely to launch later this year.
One of the three devices, likely the vanilla K50, will feature the Dimensity 2000. The Pro Redmi flagship could feature the Snapdragon 870 or its successor. Lastly, the top-end Redmi K50 Pro+ could feature the Snapdragon 898, aka Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
The Dimensity 2000 is said to have an AnTuTu score of over a million, which is quite high over the Dimensity 1200’s score of around 7,15,000. It is said to have a prime core with a clock speed of 3.0GHz and three performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz. The chip’s four efficiency cores will clock at 1.8GHz, according to leaked details.
Other details of the K50 Pro+ model had leaked as well. It is rumoured to feature a 108MP triple-camera setup with a telephoto camera. We can expect the vanilla model to feature a 48MP primary camera and the Pro model to come with a 64MP sensor. The Pro+ variant will also pack a 5000 mAh battery with possibly 100W or 120W fast charging. As expected, the Pro+ model will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display at least. It is also said to include an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Redmi has not officially commented on the leaked specs. It is therefore advised to take the leaked details with a pinch of salt.
