Redmi K50

Xiaomi is prepping up to unveil the Redmi K50 series handsets in China. Just a couple of days back a Redmi K50 series handset with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 was spotted on multiple certification websites. Now, in a new development, a Xiaomi smartphone with Snapdragon 870 has now appeared on Geekbench 5 database.

The handset made a visit to the Geekbench benchmark website with model number 22021211RC, and could be the upcoming Redmi K50. Let us take a look at the information revealed in the Geekbench listing.

Redmi K50 Specifications Listed on Geekbench

Xiaomi 22021211RC scored 963 points in the single-core round of the Geekbench 5 test. Whereas, in the multi-core round of the benchmark test, the score was recorded as 3123. The Geekbench listing also confirms that the handset will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and codename munch. Based on this, an upcoming Redmi K50 series handset appears to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.

Last year, Xiaomi had used the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 on the vanilla Redmi K40. The handset was launched as Mi 11X in India and POCO F3 in the global markets. Apart from this, the Geekbench listing also confirms the presence of 12GB of RAM on the upcoming Redmi device. The handset will come preloaded with Android 12, going by the listing.

Redmi K50 Pro Leaked Design Render

Recently, the design render and the case of the Redmi K50 Pro were leaked on the web. As per the leaked info, the handset will offer a triple-rear camera setup and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Once again, Xiaomi seems to be opting for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner rather than in-display fingerprint scanners for the Redmi K-series devices.
